Enfamil Fer-In-Sol is a liquid iron supplement for infants and children, particularly infants of anemic mothers, low-birth-weight infants and infants of mothers with poorly controlled diabetes.
One daily liquid dose provides 15 mg of elemental iron, a mineral that helps support brain and red blood cell development*. *These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.
Product may be given by dispensing directly into the mouth or mixed with breast milk, formula, fruit juice, cereal or other foods to increase acceptance. Enfamil Fer-In-Sol is part of the Enfamil Family of Pediatric Vitamin Drops, the #1 selling brand.
The product may cause stools to appear darker in color or temporary discoloration of teeth - this is normal and no cause for concern.
Enfamil Fer-In-Sol should be used only as instructed by your child's doctor - in case of accidental overdose, the physician, Poison Control Center or hospital emergency should be notified immediately.
